On the anniversary of 9/11, The Federalist Papers shares that the date, Sept. 11, has a special significant meaning to Islamists:
The Date of the 9/11 Attacks Was Not Random, It Had Major Symbolic Meaning
September 11, 2001 was no mistake, as Robert Spencer noted. Osama bin Laden chose this date with a very specific purpose in mind: to signify the end of the decline of Islam, and to demonstrate that Jihad as a global movement was back after a 318 year hiatus.

The armies of the Muslim Ottoman Turks, after having taken Constantinople in 1453 (the Christian capital of the Byzantine empire since 324 AD when Byzantium was chosen as Constantine the Great’s capital and renamed Constantinople) waged a continual warfare against Christian Europe, advancing to the gates of Vienna in 1683. Vienna, Austria was the ancient seat of the Hapsburg dynasty, who were the ruling family producing all the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire. The siege of Vienna was broken by the King of Poland and his army on Sept. 11, 1683.

The question The Federalist Papers asks, is, “Did September 11, 2001, really mark the end of the decline of Islamic Jihad?”
And if it did, what of the sixth bowl poured out on the Euphrates? The sixth bowl, culminating in the defeat of the Ottomans during World War I in 1917, was indeed poured on the Euphrates. The Euphrates is where the Turks came from, as fulfilled by the sixth trumpet. And since 1917, their power has indeed been broken. Turkey today has traditionally been the most modern, moderate, and pro-Western Muslim country in the Middle East.
But in the interval between the sixth and seventh bowls, three frog spirits are released into the world, to plague it with false words:
“The third unclean idea proceeds from the mouth of the false prophet. Traditionally, the church has held that the idea proceeding from the mouth of the false prophet is the ideology of a resurgent and virulent Islam. The great scientist Isaac Newton, looking far forward from his own time, believed that the Ottomans, who were the greatest world power in his day, would one day be defeated, and on its heels an aggressive Islam would reemerge, even though in his time it was generally a mild, liberal, and tolerant religion. He based his opinion on the 16th chapter of Revelation!”

History is progressing along just as it has been predicted by Revelation. However, the takeaway is this: the three frog spirits and their ideas are going to be defeated. The seventh bowl poured out into the air, I suggested, would be a bowl which brings healing to the atmosphere of ideas, beliefs, and thinking, so that truth begns to prevail and grow. My personal opinion is that the seventh bowl has already begun to be poured out, and that the healing is starting. Look for truth to increase! But until then, the enemy is indeed roaring loudly as his time is very short.
